 ABOUT US

About Us.

Street Physiotherapy has been open since 1999 and is run by Beth Pearson, Sara Stobart and Angela Hughes.

We are not prescriptive with our treatments; each patientís individual needs are listened to carefully, assessed and then we explain what we believe is the cause of the problem.

Treatment will often involve manual therapy, exercises and advice on how to improve and manage the condition themselves.

We believe giving our patients a full understanding of their problem helps everyone to make realistic goals for their recovery.

We are all Clinical Pilates instructors.

Beth trained in London and then worked in London teaching hospitals where she completed her Post Graduate Manipulation course gaining her MACP membership. Later she was involved teaching both undergraduates and postgraduates in manual therapy.

She lived and worked abroad in the Sudan, Greece, Singapore and Australia for 17 years the last 10 of those spent in Sydney in private practice before moving back to England in 1998. After moving to Somerset she worked part time in the NHS before starting the Street Physiotherapy Practice in 1999.

Between 2001-2010 she took over the physiotherapy service at Millfield School with Sara ,expanding her expertise in adolescent sporting and growth-related conditions.

Beth has a specific interest in back pain management, headaches and vestibular problems and physiotherapy following reconstructive surgery. She is a Clinical Pilates instructor. She is registered with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) and is recognised by all private health providers.
