Street Physiotherapy has been open since 1999 and is run by Beth Pearson and Sara Stobart.

trained in London and then completed the Post Graduate Manipulation Course while working in London hospitals. Later she was involved teaching both under graduates and post graduates in manual therapy.

She lived and worked abroad in the Sudan, Greece and Singapore and Australia for 17 years the last 10 of those spent in Sydney, in private practice. Her main interests have always been in musculo-skeletal problems. She returned to England in 1998 and worked part time in the NHS before setting up the present practice in 1999.

In 2002 she took over the physiotherapy services at Millfield School with Sara for 9 years expanding her expertise in adolescent sporting injuries and growth related conditions. Her specific interests are in chronic low back pain, headaches, and vestibular problems, physiotherapy following reconstructive surgery, sports injuries, and adolescent conditions.

Beth Pearson

Beth is a Clinical Pilates instructor. She is a member of the CSP (Chartered Society of Physiotherapy) and the HPC (Health Professionals Council). She is also a member of the MACP (Manipulative Association of Chartered Physiotherapists) and the ACPSM (Association of Chartered Physiotherapists in Sports Medicine). She is recognised by all major health companies.

joined Beth in 2001 following a career in the NHS as well as in private practice in Bath. She trained at Bath and worked within the NHS in Bristol and Somerset. She became Superintendent at Frome and was also very involved in post-graduate training for physiotherapists within the South-West. Whilst having her family she set up in private practice near Bath before joining Beth and together running the physiotherapy service at Millfield School as well as the Street practice.

Since Sara started working at Street Physio she has qualified as an acupuncturist and as a clinical pilates instructor. She has a specific interest in shoulder problems particularly sport related. She is a keen recreational runner and enjoys treating running injuries.
